Our very own Joyce has transformed our trees into colorful works of art with her amazing yarn bombs, just in time for our Memorial Day barbecue! These vibrant creations, handcrafted stitch by stitch, took months of Joyce’s passion and dedication to bring to life. They perfectly capture the red, white, and blue spirit, making our celebration even more special—and every single minute of hard work truly shines through! Thank you Joyce for making our courtyard and decor so amazing!

Our cactus courtyard patio was bursting with red, white, and blue spirit as residents brought their fun vibes to celebrate Memorial Day! Huge thanks to Chef Dakota for serving up a delicious lunch that made the day even more special, and a special shout out to our server Debbie for her amazing service, making sure everyone was taken care of. The event was fun and exciting, and the residents and community had an absolute blast!

We took this fun piñata-breaking event outside on our patio—perfect for the beautiful weather and a great way to get everyone outside! Residents and staff had an absolute blast, and for some residents, it was their very first time experiencing the excitement of busting a piñata. The laughter and joy made the day truly memorable!

Our community came together in a truly beautiful celebration to honor the incredible women and mothers among us. The stunning display, thoughtfully crafted by Vincent and Victoria, created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the day feel extra special. The gratitude and joy were evident in every smile, lighting up the faces of all the women as they were recognized and cherished. Adding a sweet touch to the event, our very own cook Cheryl made each mom a delicate candied flower, a heartfelt gift that perfectly captured the love and appreciation we all feel. It was a day filled with meaning, beauty, and endless thankfulness.

Happy Mother’s Day - everyday - to all the incredible women who touch so many lives.

We know how to Cinco de Mayo!
What an incredible Fiesta at the Grand: Cinco de Mayo Celebration! Our doors swung wide open as the community poured in to enjoy a vibrant taco bar crafted by our amazing chef Dakota, setting the perfect flavor-filled tone for the day. The atmosphere came alive with the soulful Spanish melodies and lively songs performed by Andrew’s very own brother, Adrianne, whose music got everyone on their feet and dancing with joy. It was a true celebration of spirit and togetherness, bringing neighbors, friends, and even our very own APD officer into one unforgettable gathering. The energy, laughter, and shared moments made it clear how special it is when a community comes together to honor tradition and have a blast doing it!

Joyce, our incredible resident artist and storyteller, has poured over a year of unmatched dedication into creating her self-published book; a beautiful fusion of her captivating artwork, heartfelt poems, and compelling short stories. We were truly blessed and honored to witness her share this labor of love with us, including a special reading from her book. Her passion and commitment shine through every page, making this release a remarkable celebration of her talent and spirit.

Our derby event was an absolute blast, hosted by our very own activities director Vincent who crafted delicious homemade mint juleps to keep the spirit lively. The excitement reached a whole new level with a mechanical horse race where residents eagerly bet on their colored horses. Everyone really dressed to impress, showing off the fabulous fascinators our residents made themselves, adding that perfect derby flair. Even Coco got into the spirit with her very own jockey, making the day even more special. It was amazing to watch everyone come together, share laughs, and enjoy the thrill of the race—truly a day full of fun and unforgettable moments!
