Another good day with Sarah! Brought her a small bouquet of sunflowers from my garden to brighten up this dreary day! Today is bedding day so I stripped the bed & put fresh ones on, assisted into shower, washed her back & hair, assisted drying her back & legs, assisted with dressing & lotioned her feet. Chatted with the rest of our time & took trash with me when I left!

Wonderful shift with Tony today!! He greeted me at the door and we started chatting. He wanted some chicken that was in the fridge so I baked it for him in the oven for lunch! While that was being made we talked for a while, then I wiped down the counters while he was busying himself with things in his room and at the table. I folded the laundry that was in the dryer. His chicken finished right before i needed to leave and so I prepared it on the plate and served it to him! Bid him a goodbye!

Great nice with Barbara. When I arrived we put some puzzles together. Asked her if she wanted to go for a walk before it started raining. She was excited to go. She told me she went for walk in the afternoon. But wanted to go again. We walked down to the end of the development and back. Got back in time before it started to rain. Then we played some Uno she is doing great with knowing how to play the game. Then the last half hour we sat out back and she talked about the times going to the beach. Then told her to have a great night and she was going back in to watch the Phillies.

Good day with Joan! Ankles still looked good, she was tired from the early wake up today, but the shower took longer than usual to get hot so that woke her up pretty quickly! No hair wash today since it’s Wednesday, did wash her back & dried it & dried her legs, assisted with toe protector and dressing, then we tried to see the Eclipse in Iceland online but only got a computer simulation of the sun which was a bummer, but it got us talking about vacation destinations, she told me about her trips to Bar Harbor & the trip to Lancaster where she stayed in a hotel shaped like a ship 😂 chatted with the rest of our time and took the trash out with me!

(awake overnight care)

Great night with my guy! We watched a little TV last night, he went to bed around 10pm… woke up 2x throughout the night to use the bathroom.

He woke up at 7am, wiped him down, changed brief and clothes. He had a cup of coffee.

I washed clothes, put the dishes away, made the bed, we walked to take the garbage out.. he reminded me to water the plants.. and we sat, chatted and watched the news until the end of my shift.

from the Caregiver: We had a good evening together. She was kidding around and laughing which was nice to see. We did the normal routine then she had some soup for dinner and some dessert. I did the dishes and straightened up the kitchen. We were done earlier than usual so we got to talk and share a few laughs. Then it was time for me to go.

from client's daughter: She was just telling me she doesn't remember when she laughed that hard. She needs more of that, so thank you for cheering her up ❤️

When arrived Helen was watching Musikfest on TV. We did our normal routine and took her stockings off. I made her hotdogs and corn on a cob for dinner. She had a muffin and fruit for dessert. She took her medicine. I did the dishes straightened up the kitchen. We chatted a little bit before tucking her in and getting her comfortable for the evening.
