Am I missing any?
How do you introduce new foods without going over the grocery budget or wasting leftovers?

Your child is unique, which is why there is no one-size-fits-all way to โ€œfixโ€ or โ€œreverseโ€ picky eating.

One-size-fits-all feeding advice assumes kids avoid food for the same reason.
They donโ€™t.

Temperament, sensory processing, skills, comfort, development, and family context all shape how a child learns to eat. When strategies donโ€™t match the child, stress shows up (not progress).

Support should be individualized, not universal.

Take everything you learn about feeding and picky eating and create a plan that works for you and your child.

How cool is this place mat?! I designed this double-sided reusable placemat for my Food Explorers workshops. One side is a sensory treasure hunt with fun visuals to guide step-by-step food exploration. The second side is a more open-ended game board. Both can be adapted for different age groups. My 5yo was the first to test it out tonight during dinner. We went at her pace, using the visuals as a guide and modeling without expectation as a strategy.

Come try it hands-on at a Food Explorers workshop and stay-tuned for an exclusive placemat collab coming soon! ๐Ÿ‘€โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿฅž
