Yesterday we went from Garden to table. We made BLTs with fresh tomatoes from the garden. They were delicious. Residents have really enjoyed watching the tomatoes grow, picking them and getting to enjoy eating them. One of our favorite parts of summer.

Residents enjoyed a relaxing and creative afternoon making beautiful sand art. It was fantastic to see everyone express their creativity while sharing laughter and stories. Each piece of are it unique, reflecting the vibrant personalities of our residents. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this activity so special! ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ… Exciting day at our nursing home! Our wonderful residents have been getting their hands dirty planting tomatoes, and we can't wait to see them grow. Itโ€™s always amazing to watch everyone come together to nurture these plants. Soon, weโ€™ll be using our homegrown tomatoes in our cooking club, creating delicious meals together. Gravity couldn't hold us back today at Arcadia Care at Aledo โ€” we brought the cosmos right to our activity room with space-themed sand art! Residents layered colorful sand into bottles, creating their own miniature galaxies while practicing hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. The creativity was out of this world, and we're already planning our next sand art adventure because everyone had such a blast.
