🎉Standing together on the first day of the River Community Clinic🎉 clinical staff, hospital leadership, and founding supporters gathered to celebrate the opening of a new resource for uninsured adults throughout the Thousand Islands region.
Made possible through a partnership between River Hospital and founding donors Gretchen Scott and Lloyd Buchanon, the River Community Clinic was created to expand access to primary and preventive healthcare services for community members who might otherwise delay or go without care.
Inspired by the legacy of Dr. George Sturtz and longtime River Hospital volunteer Judy Randall, the clinic reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that every neighbor has a place to turn for compassionate, high-quality healthcare close to home.
The River Community Clinic officially welcomed its first patients in June, marking the beginning of a new chapter in community health and a powerful example of what can happen when philanthropy, healthcare professionals, and community members come together
