Sweet Run State Park

On Friday, we visited Virginia's newest state park, Sweet Run. Even though this park opened in 2023, everything is still brand new! The signs, trail markings, and even the bathrooms are in tip top shape. We explored two trails; the Farmstead and Derry loop totaling 1.5 miles. The weather could not have been more perfect, especially after so many days of rain.

Our next hikes will be on June 14 and June 19 at Sky Meadows State Park and Manassas National Battlefield Park, respectively. You can learn more and sign up to join us at the link below.
