AOPA President, Kimberly Hanson was honored to participate in the Michigan Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (MOPA) Administration Education Day in Lansing this week, where more than 40 industry professionals gathered for a full day dedicated to administrative excellence in O&P.

A huge thank you to MOPA President Lissa Addams, RVP, CP and the entire planning team for recognizing the importance of investing in administrative education and professional development.

Kimberly was privileged to present alongside Gina Jewell, Misty Youell, Shannon Latulippe, Ashley Mattheis, Jennifer Draves, and Michelle Nowicki. The collaboration, expertise, and passion shared by this group made the day impactful and inspiring.

AOPA leadership loves to get out into the O&P community and connect directly with AOPA members!

Last week, AOPA Executive Director Teri Kuffel, JD, attended the Northern Plains Chapter of AAOP meeting in Minnesota (fot those that don’t know Minnesota is Teri’s home state, making the visit even more fun).

Teri had the opportunity to share an update on AOPA’s work and priorities and spent time talking with both patient care facility and supplier members about what they’re seeing and experiencing in the day-to-day work.

Hearing directly from our members about their challenges, opportunities, and priorities helps inform AOPA’s work and ensures we’re focused on the issues that matter most to our members and the broader O&P community.
