Wedding planning today often includes more than the venue and dress. Many couples - and even their parents - are planning aesthetic treatments well in advance of the big day. According to the latest AAFPRS member survey, 80% of all facial plastic procedures performed in 2025 were non-surgical, reflecting growing demand for natural-looking results.

"The biggest change we've seen is that patients are planning much earlier. They understand that achieving natural-looking results often requires thoughtful timing," says AAFPRS President Dr. Anthony Brissett.

As aesthetic preferences continue to evolve, more patients are asking an important question: When is filler enough, and when is it time to consider a facelift?

While fillers remain an excellent option for restoring volume, they cannot address tissue descent, skin laxity, or jowling. According to AAFPRS President Dr. Anthony Brissett, the best outcomes come from individualized treatment planning, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Whether the right solution is filler, surgery, or a combination of both, trust your face to a to help ensure a treatment plan that prioritizes natural-looking, long-term results: facemd.org.
