🎡🌽 Monarch Monday was full of State Fair Flair! 🌽🎡

Our team embraced the theme with plaid, denim, and fair-day casual attire, bringing a little Minnesota State Fair spirit to Bethany on the Lake.

A special shoutout to Kate, one of our day shift CNA team members, who once again took Monarch Monday to the next level with a creative Cotton Katie-inspired outfit! Her enthusiasm and willingness to go all-in on our themes always helps make these days even more fun.

🍂 September is shaping up to be a wonderful month in Adult Day Services! Participants will enjoy a variety of activities including live music, a trip to the Swift County Museum, Tri-Shaw bike rides, tie-dye fun, Bingo, crafts, exercise programs, and plenty of opportunities for friendship and laughter.

We'll also celebrate several special occasions throughout the month, including birthdays, ICC Day, and National Adult Day Services Week, September 20-26, with something special planned each day. We look forward to making meaningful memories together all month long! 💙

Classes are underway, and we wanted to help kick off the semester with a little encouragement!

This morning, Bethany on the Lake delivered Survival Kits to RN students at Alexandria Technical & Community College. Inside were a few treats and essentials to remind students that their hard work is noticed and appreciated.

The road to becoming a nurse is challenging, but the impact nurses make every day is immeasurable. We are cheering these students on as they take the next steps toward a rewarding career in healthcare.

To celebrate the start of the fall semester, Bethany on the Lake provided Nursing School Survival Kits to 33 LPN students. Filled with practical supplies and a little encouragement, these kits were a small way to show our support as they begin their nursing education.

What a wonderful day at the Douglas County Fair! 🎡🐄🍿

Last week, our residents enjoyed a special outing to the fair, taking in the sights, visiting exhibits, meeting animals, enjoying fair food, and making new memories together.

A huge thank you to our amazing team members who volunteered their time to make this experience possible. Special recognition goes to our Therapeutic Recreation Director, Rae, whose dedication and countless hours of planning helped create a fun and meaningful day for our residents.

We'd also like to thank Dan and Travis from our Maintenance Team for helping transport residents to and from the fair and assisting with booth setup. Your willingness to lend a hand made all the difference!

These outings are about more than just a day at the fair. They are about connection, joy, and helping our residents continue to experience the traditions and events they love. ❤️

Since joining our Short-Term Rehab team as an RN, Cam has quickly made a positive impact through her clinical expertise, professionalism, and compassionate care. We are excited to see the Neighborhood Navigators program launch in Alexandria!

Designed to help new residents build connections, discover local opportunities, and feel at home in our community, this program is a wonderful addition to the work already being done by our local Chamber, EDC, and many community partners.

We're especially proud that our own Community Liaison, Jess Ptacek, will serve as one of the navigators. We can't wait to see the friendships, connections, and sense of belonging she helps create along the way.

We’re excited to partner with the Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce on Neighborhood Navigators. If you’re new to the area or looking to get more involved, this is for you. Starting in October, we’ll host quarterly gatherings—each offering a different way to experience the Alexandria Area, from community events and local traditions to conversations with area leaders and relaxed social activities.
