Alexandria, LA – Medical Biller and Coder Position Available.
As a Medical Biller and Coder, at Cenla Family Medicine Associates, you are invited to work with a team of professionals dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to the patients whom we serve with competency, sensitivity, and confidentiality.
Duties include but are not limited to: Reviewing claims for accuracy before filing to insurance, Working A/R reports, claim denials and appeals in a timely manner, Assisting with patient phone calls regarding balances and statements, Making sure that codes are assigned correctly and sequenced appropriately as per government and insurance regulations, and Complying with medical coding guidelines and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS:
Billing/Coding: 2 Years (required)
ICD-10: 1Year (Preferred)
Knowledgeable of CPT & HCPC
