The support of Hospice of Douglas County doesn't end with hospice care. We continue to walk alongside families, offering emotional and spiritual support through one of life's most difficult journeys.

Our bereavement program provides counseling and grief support for up to 13 months following the loss of a loved one, helping families find comfort, healing, and hope at their own pace.

Whether you need a listening ear, guidance through the grieving process, or connections to community resources, we're here for you.

🌟 We're Hiring: Full-Time Hospice Supervisor 🌟

Join the dedicated team at Hospice of Douglas County and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families.

We're seeking a Full-Time Exempt Hospice Supervisor to provide leadership and oversight for our hospice services, programs, and staff. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and supervising all hospice operations, including hospice employees, volunteers, and contracted service providers.

Minimum Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 3–5 years of hospice experience (supervisory experience preferred), OR
✔ Associate's degree in Nursing and 6+ years of hospice experience (supervisory experience preferred)

📅 Initial application deadline: Sunday, August 2, 2026

Join Hospice of Douglas County for our annual Memorial Butterfly Release, a special evening dedicated to remembering and celebrating the lives of loved ones.

Purchase a butterfly for $10 to release in honor or memory of someone special. Butterflies can be purchased online or at the event.

For over 40 years, we've been providing exceptional end-of-life care to patients and families in Douglas County. If you're passionate about making a meaningful difference, we'd love to hear from you.
