Funeral Director Erik Huehns drove out to St. John's Lutheran Church (LCMS) - Algoma, WI in Rankin today for their Picnic!

The St. John’s Youth Ministry prepared a great !

Erik’s kids loved the homemade desserts and ice cream bar (and so did Erik)!

“Dad, there’s a SLIDE and SWINGS and SAND!”

Erik said it was nice to see so many friendly and familiar faces, and those who recognized him echoed something similar to him: “Erik, it’s nice to see you outside of a funeral:)”

The music was good, and drinks were cold! You couldn’t have asked for better weather to enjoy it all with!

“Dad, look it! We each got necklaces!”

A great day for a picnic, indeed!

The Holy Name of Mary and 11th Annual Car Show was a hit!!! Funeral Director Erik Huehns mentioned it was a fantastic turnout! They even had courtesy shuttles from the parking areas right up to the food and car show grounds!

The parking lot was filled with all different kinds of cars…From to muscle cars to modern-day fast/sport cars, and even a few !!! Erik spotted those immediately! (Surprise, surprise…)

The Modern Day Drifters provided good music throughout the day! Great job, guys!

Erik’s kids loved the bouncy house and all of the other games! Thank you, Dcn. Mark Hibbs, for serving as “bouncer” (at the bouncy house) and keeping the kids safe!

The food was great, and they were tons of desserts, as always!

This church picnic is always special with some of our own extended relation and friends as parishioners, here!

Can’t wait until next year!
