❤️ Three Years of Commitment. One Mission. Countless Lives Touched. ❤️

Today, the NAHN-Michigan Chapter was honored to once again stand alongside the MOTTEP Foundation during the Heart Walk, continuing a partnership that has now spanned three consecutive years.

As nurses, we know that improving health extends far beyond the bedside. Through our continued support of MOTTEP, we are helping raise awareness about heart health, organ and tissue donation, health equity, and the importance of educating and empowering our communities.

This partnership reflects what NAHN-MI is all about: serving others, building healthier communities, and making a meaningful impact through volunteerism and advocacy.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated NAHN-MI volunteers who gave their time today. Your passion and commitment continue to make our chapter a trusted community partner.

Together, we are walking toward healthier hearts, stronger communities, and brighter futures.

Congratulations Toni!!!

Today, our NAHN-Michigan family celebrates one of our very own.

This incredible recognition is a reflection of who you are, not only as an accomplished nurse leader and educator, but as a mentor, advocate, and friend. Your leadership, determination, outstanding commitment to nursing and the communities you serve, and your bold vision for the future have not only inspired countless nurses, they have broken glass ceilings and created opportunities for those who will follow in your footsteps.

Thank you for leading with courage, purpose, and unwavering integrity. You have shown us what is possible when excellence is paired with compassion and a commitment to lifting others as you rise.

We are so proud of you, Toni. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor. Your NAHN-MI family is cheering you on today and always!

An engineering marvel. The Gordie Howe International Bridge officially opens this week, marking a historic new connection between the United States and Canada. Even more inspiring, its inaugural lighting display, Shimmer, symbolizes unity, partnership, and the shared waters that connect our two nations.

NAHN-Michigan is excited to be part of this milestone as we host our 5K Walk Across the Gordie Howe International Bridge this September in support of nursing scholarships. We can’t wait to bring our community together on this incredible landmark. Stay tuned for time and date.

🎉 Happy 325th Birthday, Detroit! 🎉

Today we celebrate 325 years of the city we proudly call home.

Founded on July 24, 1701, by French explorer Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac along the Detroit River, our city has grown from a small frontier settlement into a place that has shaped the world through innovation, industry, music, art, sports, medicine, and culture.

Detroit gave the world the automobile assembly line, Motown, unforgettable architecture, world-class museums, championship sports, and a spirit of resilience that continues to inspire. Like every great city, Detroit has faced challenges, but its story has always been one of perseverance, reinvention, and hope.

Whether it’s the Detroit Institute of Arts, our incredible food scene, the RiverWalk, Eastern Market, or the neighborhoods that give Detroit its heart, I can’t wait for you to experience it through the eyes of those of us who call this city home.

Happy 325th Anniversary, Detroit! Here’s to honoring our past while continuing to build an even brighter future.

❤️ Detroit. Then. Now. Always.
