These two adorable little orange tabbies came in for their very first kitten visit! 🥰 And of course, our amazing vet assistant Hannah couldn’t resist getting in a few kitten cuddles while they were here. 😻

Here’s the fun part: one of these orange babies is a GIRL! 👀 Female orange tabbies are much less common than males, so we thought we’d put you to the test…

She comes to us with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University and has professional interests in preventive medicine and veterinary acupuncture. Beyond her love for animals, Dr. Gonzalez-Sanchez enjoys reading, watching K-dramas, and spending time with family and friends. We look forward to introducing you to her at your next visit!

Dr. Gonzalez-Sanchez earned her DVM from Texas A&M University and brings several years of experience in small animal medicine. She has a special interest in preventive care and veterinary acupuncture and is passionate about helping pets live longer, healthier lives.

🎓🐾 Big Congratulations to Our Newest Licensed Veterinary Technician! 🐾🎓

Please join us in congratulating Josue Cintron on graduating from the Collin College Veterinary Technology Program and successfully passing both his state and national board examinations, officially earning the title of Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)!

Josue joined the Animal Hospital of Collin County team in August 2025, and we have had the privilege of watching him grow, learn, and work tirelessly toward this achievement. His dedication to his education, his patients, and our clients has been evident every step of the way, and we couldn’t be prouder of him.

These graduation photos are especially meaningful to us because several of Josue’s classmates also completed their clinical rotations here at AHCC. It has been an honor to play a small role in the training and development of these future veterinary professionals, and we extend our congratulations to all of the graduates in the Class of 2026!

The future of veterinary medicine is bright, and we are grateful for opportunities to support students as they take the next steps in their careers.

Yesterday, Animal Hospital of Collin County was honored to attend the Plano ISD Partners in Education Luncheon on behalf of our team and community.

Our LVT Sara and practice leadership were proud to represent AHCC as we were recognized for our partnership with Plano Independent School District and its Career & Technical Education program. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of hosting many talented students as they explore careers in veterinary medicine and healthcare.

Investing in the next generation of compassionate, skilled professionals is something we deeply value, and we are grateful to play a small part in helping students gain real-world experience, confidence, and inspiration for their future careers.

Thank you to Plano ISD for including us in this meaningful program — and thank you to the students who continue to bring curiosity, enthusiasm, and heart into our hospital every day. We are proud to support your journey! 🐾💙
