❤️🐾 MORE THAN A JOB. A CALLING. HAPPY VET TECH WEEK! 🐾❤️

Have you ever wondered just how much your veterinary technician does during your pet’s visit?

They’re often the ones helping calm anxious patients, monitoring vital signs and anesthesia, running diagnostic tests, assisting during procedures, administering treatments, educating pet parents, and making sure our doctors have what they need to provide the best possible care.

But their job goes far beyond the medical skills.

It’s sitting on the floor with a frightened puppy until they feel safe. It’s gently comforting a senior pet. It’s celebrating alongside a family when their beloved companion is feeling better and offering tenderness and support when the news is difficult.

It’s long days, quick thinking, dirty scrubs, full hearts, and showing up for patients who can’t tell us what hurts.

Veterinary technicians combine medical knowledge, critical thinking, teamwork, and an extraordinary amount of compassion. They are advocates for our patients, partners to our doctors, and a vital part of the bond we share with every family who trusts us with their pets.

This week, we’re especially proud to recognize our incredible LVTs — Sara, Josue, and Kelsey! ❤️ Their dedication, knowledge, and care make a difference every single day, and we are so lucky to have them on our team.

🎉🐾 HAPPY VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK! 🐾🎉

We’re kicking off the week by celebrating three incredible members of our AHCC family — Sara, Josue, and Kelsey! ❤️

We started the celebration a little early with some fun and team time at Topgolf, because the people who spend their days taking care of everyone else’s pets deserve a little extra fun of their own! ⛳️🥳

Our licensed veterinary technicians are the heart of so much of what we do. From caring for patients and assisting with procedures to monitoring anesthesia, running lab work, comforting nervous pets, educating pet parents, and supporting our doctors, they bring skill, dedication, and compassion to every single day.

They work hard, love deeply, and often do so much behind the scenes that goes unseen. We are incredibly grateful for everything they bring to our team and the difference they make in the lives of the pets and families we serve. 🐶🐱💕

Prost to a GREAT day at Armorfest! 🇩🇪🍻🐾

Dr. Brown & Wilson (our mascot) had so much fun getting out into the community, meeting new friends, seeing familiar faces, introducing Dr. Gonzalez-Sanchez, and of course… meeting ALL the adorable pups! 🐶💙

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the Animal Hospital of Collin County booth, spun the wheel, grabbed a prize, and said hello. We loved getting to spend the day with you!

🐱🧡 Double the orange, double the trouble! 🧡🐱

These two adorable little orange tabbies came in for their very first kitten visit! 🥰 And of course, our amazing vet assistant Hannah couldn’t resist getting in a few kitten cuddles while they were here. 😻
