One of my favorite things about being out in the community is that you never know who you are going to meet or how you might be able to help someone.

Over the weekend at the Allen Fall Fest, a gentleman approached me and shared his experience with his Medicare Supplement plan. He had questions, so we scheduled an appointment for the very next day.

Today, we received word that his underwritten Medicare Supplement application was approved — resulting in a $200 PER MONTH premium savings!

Have a Blue Cross Medicare Advantage plan in Texas?
Your plan is going away in 2027.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas has announced that starting January 1, 2027, it will no longer offer its Blue Cross Medicare Advantage plans (HMO and PPO) in Texas.
First, take a breath. You will not lose your Medicare. You do need to pick new coverage, though, or you'll go back to Original Medicare and could be left without the extra benefits and drug coverage you have now.
Annual Enrollment runs October 15 – December 7. Choosing a new plan by then means your coverage carries on without a gap on January 1.
