Some verses are worth waiting a lifetime for.🌟

At 92 years old, resident Manuel Carvajal has proven that it's never too late to pursue your passion. After dreaming of recording his own original song for years, Manuel finally stepped into the studio thanks to our Dreams ReImagined program which made that dream a reality with a song titled "We Will Rise."

His story is a beautiful reminder that age is never a barrier to creativity, purpose, or achieving something meaningful. With encouragement and support, lifelong dreams can still come true; bringing joy not only to the person living them, but to everyone lucky enough to witness the journey.

Our residents learned about microgreens from start to finish with our Horticultural Therapy Intern. It began with planting seeds and watching them grow, to enjoying an afternoon social with these delicious herbs and a cream cheese spread. Residents had so much fun reminiscing and sharing stories together while enjoying our homegrown herbs.

There's nothing better than flowers and friends! 💐

Our residents had a lot of fun making flower arrangements with our student volunteers! They enjoyed sharing stories about their home gardens, their love for flowers and summertime memories.
