Love the frames. Still fighting the glare? ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Polarized prescription sunglasses can help reduce reflected glare from water and snow. A backside non-glare coating can also help reduce reflections from the back of your lenses.

And yes, Michigan friends, sunglasses have a job in winter, too. โ„๏ธ

Tell us where glare bothers you and we can help you explore options that fit your vision and your style!

When even the eye doctor has to zoom in on the restaurant menuโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘€
Trouble focusing up close is part of an age-related vision change called presbyopia. And yes, it can catch an eye doctor off guard, too!

Progressive glasses, computer glasses, and contact lens options can help address different needs.
If your arms don't feel long enough anymore, let's talk. We can help you explore your options!

09/28/2026

Trying on someone elseโ€™s progressive glasses is a little like trying on someone elseโ€™s retainer. ๐Ÿ˜…

Progressive lenses are custom! Your prescription, measurements, frame, lens technology, and how the glasses sit on your face all affect your vision.

So if someone else had a difficult experienceโ€”or their glasses felt strange when you tried themโ€”that does not mean progressives will not work for you.

Having trouble with a new pair? Sometimes a small professional adjustment can make a meaningful difference. The team at Family Vision Optical is happy to help you find the right fit for your eyes and your everyday life. ๐Ÿ‘“
