That’s a wrap on the National Athletic Trainers' Association Clinical Symposia & Athletic Training Expo!

Our St. Luke's Sports Medicine team had a great week in Philadelphia connecting with athletic trainers and sports medicine professionals from across the country.

From educational sessions and hands-on learning to networking with colleagues and industry leaders, our athletic trainers returned with new knowledge, fresh ideas, and valuable connections to bring back to the communities we serve.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and made this year's convention such a great experience. We'll see you next year!

St. Luke’s Hospital and St. Luke’s Sports Medicine are to support the Schuylkill United Way Football Challenge that took place yesterday.

Athletic Trainers from Blue Mountain, North Schuylkill, Nativity B.V.M., and Shenandoah volunteered their time to help make the event a success, supporting football programs across Schuylkill County.

A special thank you to all of the volunteers who gave back to their communities and helped create a great experience for the athletes.

What a day at the Blue Eagle 5K Fun Color Run! 🏃

This weekend, community members came together to celebrate movement, wellness, and healthy living.

From the colorful course to the smiles at the finish line, the event was a great reminder of the power of staying active and connected as a community.

Following the race, participants had the opportunity to explore the Wellness Fair, connect with local organizations, take part in health screenings, and learn more about resources that support lifelong health and wellness.

🏃‍♂️ PIAA Track & Field State Championships 🏃‍♀️
This weekend, some of Pennsylvania’s top student-athletes took center stage at Shippensburg University for the PIAA Track & Field State Championships, with nearly 2,700 athletes competing across AA, AAA, and Unified divisions over two exciting days of competition.
As the official medical provider for the event, St. Luke’s Sports Medicine was proud to provide comprehensive medical coverage throughout the weekend. Our athletic trainers and sports medicine professionals were on-site to support athletes and help ensure a safe competitive environment from the first event to the final medal ceremony.
👏 Congratulations to every athlete, coach, and program represented this weekend. Your hard work and commitment made for an incredible championship experience.

The St. Luke's Sports Medicine ElevATed Education team is proud to spotlight Mental Health Awareness Month with an impactful upcoming FREE virtual CEU session led by members of our Mental Health Service Team.

This session, titled When Caring Hurts: Addressing Compassion Fatigue in Healthcare, will explore compassion fatigue in healthcare providers and provide practical strategies to support mental wellness while continuing to deliver high-quality care.

This session is approved for 1 category A CEU for Athletic Trainers. Feel free to share with fellow Athletic Trainers and colleagues who may benefit from this session!

In partnership with Parkland High School’s Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Biomedical Science program, our team is delivering another full day of immersive, hands-on medical education to their talented students.

New stations this year include:
• IV Therapy
• Internal Medicine / Hospital Care (led by Dr. Cody Kramer)
• Emergent Care (Anaphylaxis & dislocations)
• OR / Sterilization
• TIM (Training in Motion) Anatomy trailer

Returning highlights:
• Cadaver Dissection led by Dr. Daniel Heckman
• Arthroscopic station with Dr. Johnathan McKeeman & Dr. Ryan DeLeon
