⭐ THERAPIST SPOTLIGHT ⭐

Meet Joe Lyons, LAC, who works with children, adolescents, and adults at our Moorestown and Hamilton locations. He has experience supporting individuals struggling with substance use, anxiety, depression/grief, ADHD, life transitions, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and feelings of being stuck. His work with diverse populations allows him to meet clients wherever they are in their personal journey.

Joe uses an integrative therapeutic approach tailored to each client’s specific goals and needs. His practice is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential therapy, Psychodynamic therapy, and Strengths-based approaches. In sessions, this may involve exploring how thoughts shape emotions and behaviors, identifying patterns rooted in past experiences, reflecting on meaning and purpose, and building on existing personal strengths.

Joe earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Rowan University and his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University.

Outside of counseling, Joe enjoys music, traveling, martial arts, philosophy, and spending time with family. 🎵 ✈🥋

Have you been wondering if ADHD or Autism might explain patterns you've noticed in yourself? 🧠

Getting an answer can be life-changing, and it's never too late. Our licensed clinicians offer comprehensive evaluations for adults.

Many of our therapists are in network with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Optum/United Healthcare, UMR, and Meritain, and we also accept out of network benefits.

We're in the last week of Mental Health Awareness Month — and we want you to know: we're still here. 💚

This month has been about opening up the conversation around mental health. About asking for help, leaning on community, and remembering that you don't have to carry things alone.

Mental health doesn't pause when May ends. Neither do we.

Community is part of healing 🌿

Today, we want to highlight the Moorestown Library, one of our favorite community spaces right here in town.

Beyond books, the library offers free programs, resources, and a welcoming space for everyone. Places like this remind us that healing doesn't only happen in a therapist's office. It happens in community, in connection, and in spaces where everyone belongs.

We're proud to be neighbors. 💚

⭐ Therapist Spotlight ⭐

Meet Monika Jastrzebski, MA, LAC, LAAT, one of our incredible therapists here at Main Street Counseling NJ.

Here's what Monika has to say about her work: "I’m drawn to this work because I’ve seen how transformative it can be when someone feels safe enough to be open and vulnerable. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults on anxiety, trauma, family dynamics, relationship issues, and self-esteem, while also fostering self-compassion and resilience. I approach my work through a strengths-based and person-centered lens, often incorporating creative interventions like art therapy."

When she's not in session, you can find her painting, traveling, or soaking up time at the beach. 🎨🌊

If you're interested in working with one of our therapists, reach out to our intake coordinator Stacilynn at 609.534.0296 — she'll make sure you find the right fit!
