Today is Día de los Mu***os, a day of celebration and remembrance for families to honor their loved ones who have passed. It’s a time for families to come together, creating ofrendas (altars) to welcome the spirits of the deceased, offering their favorite foods, drinks, and items that brought them joy in life.
This day provides a meaningful way to celebrate the lives of the departed, allowing families to feel connected to their loved ones even after they are gone.
We share with our Hispanic friends in the day of remembrance and reverence even for their pets whose spirits live on.
