To every mom reading this on Mother’s Day weekend...

To the mom who hasn’t slept through the night in years.
Who’s exhausted but her nervous system won’t let her rest.
To the mom carrying the mental load.
To the mom who is holding it all while everyone else just... lives.
To the mom who feels invisible.
To the mom running on empty.
To the mom who can’t remember the last time she felt calm.

“You’re so lucky.”

No. I’m intentional with my health.
I get adjusted regularly (even when nothing hurting or going on).
I prioritize sleep (my NS needs it).
I move daily.
I eat real food.
I say no to what drains me.
Luck didn’t give me energy, pain-free movement, and the ability to keep up with my kids.

Consistent choices did. đź’š

If your period cramps are debilitating, that’s not normal. And you don’t have to live like that. 🤍

Calling out of work, curled up in bed with a heating pad, living on ibuprofen, and dreading that week every month because you know you’re going to be miserable.

Everyone says “some women just have bad periods” or “try birth control to manage it.”
But did you know that your uterus is controlled by nerves from your lower spine (L1-L2) and sacrum?

These nerves regulate:
Uterine muscle contractions
Blood flow to the uterus
Inflammation levels
Pain signals
Hormone receptor sensitivity

When your lumbar spine or pelvis are out of balance (from sitting, old injuries, compensation patterns, previous pregnancies, chronic stress), nerve signals to your uterus are disrupted.

Are you struggling with pain while breastfeeding? Check your posture before you blame your latch. 🤱

Most lactation support focuses on how you’re holding the baby. But here’s what’s missing: how is YOUR body positioned?

When you’re hunched over for every feed - shoulders rounded, neck craned down, upper back curved forward - you’re creating:
-Massive tension in your neck, shoulders, and upper back
-Rib stress and tension that restricts breathing and positioning
-Spinal stress that affects your nervous system’s ability to relax (which you need for letdown)
-Physical strain that makes feeding uncomfortable for YOU

And when your body hurts, feeding becomes something you dread instead of enjoy.

The posture mistakes most moms make:
❌ Leaning down to baby instead of bringing baby up to breast
❌ Hunching shoulders forward
❌ Craning neck to watch the latch
❌ No back support
❌ Arms unsupported (holding baby’s full weight)
