This week was Fan Night and we had furry visitors! Fans stopped by the make-n-take table to create posters to support a favorite player or team. Loud and Proud—we love our fans!
We also had Penny, Daisy, and Sadie lapping up the love and ear scratches 🐶🥰
And last but not least, we had Lexie and Maddy from WeAreCP at the park with a table where people with disabilities created portraits of themselves to celebrate Disability Pride Month. Because everyone in our community should be seen for the amazing person they are! 🤩

Quick update: Many of you are looking at the weather and wondering if the games are still on. The forecast looks decent for this afternoon, warm and a chance of a storm, but what we are seeing right now is that the storm chances are low during our games, and we’ve missed two weeks already, so we are on. If anything changes we will let coaches know and post here, and it’s always possible we will have to pause or cancel a game at the park if the weather changes, but my crystal ball says, “Play ball!”
Also, busy night—CP’s Disability Pride table with portrait projects for people with disabilities will be up and running. Players, please stop by and make yourself seen!
Fan Night—make a sign at the park at our table, or bring your own to support your teams and players! Also, drop your name in the drawing for snacks at concession.

We are selling Uncle Mike's Kringle coupons to help support our league representatives, Bethany and Cody, as they travel to play in the Miracle League All-Star games this October. This is a win-win fundraiser--you pay regular price for a Kringle coupon which can be redeemed at any Uncle Mike's shops in town for a whole Kringle, and Uncle Mike's gives the league a $4.75 slice per coupon sold. No expiration date, and they make great gifts now or at the holidays!

The Caregiving in Bloom event has been postponed due to weather a couple of times, but the good news is you still can register and enjoy a pleasant time at the Botanical Gardens planned for caregivers and the people they care for. The event in Tuesday, July 21st, 4:00-6:00pm, and you need to register by phone by this Friday, the 17th.

UPDATE: CP will be at the park on July 27th* with a project. Their table will have supplies for people with disabilities to create a picture of themselves for their display to celebrate Disability Pride month.

*This event is reschedule for July 27th as all of our July 13th games have been cancelled due to extreme heat.

We will be off on July 6 for the holiday, so our next games will be July 13th. 🇺🇸
