Who do you tell first when you find out you’re pregnant? 🥹🤍

Personally, I tell the same person every time… and then I start assembling my birth team 😂✨

Because after the excitement settles in, my mind immediately goes to all the things. Who do I want supporting me? Where do I want to give birth? Who do I want by my side when things get real?

Your birth team matters. These are the people who will hold space for you, support you, answer your questions, and remind you that you can do this.

✨ Abdominal lift & tuck ✨

This is one of my favorite tools to support labor progress, especially when baby needs a little extra help finding their best position. 💫

An abdominal lift and tuck can:
🤰 Encourage baby’s rotation and descent
🌀 Create more space in the pelvis
💪 Support stronger, more effective contractions
🌸 Reduce back pain during labor

When do we use it?
👉 During contractions, especially if labor is feeling long or contractions aren’t as productive as they could be.
👉 When baby is in a posterior (sunny-side-up) position or not engaging well.
👉 Anytime we want to help the uterus and pelvis work together more efficiently.

One of the things I love most: involving the partner. 💕
When your partner helps with abdominal lift & tucks, not only do you get extra hands-on support, but that touch and connection boosts oxytocin—the beautiful hormone that fuels labor and love.

Labor isn’t just physical, it’s emotional and hormonal too. Partner involvement makes it powerful. ✨

Supporting a mama in labor is sacred work. It looks like holding space through every contraction, rubbing her back, breathing with her, reminding her of her strength, and whispering encouragement when things feel intense. It’s running on adrenaline, coffee, and love. It’s holding hands, timing surges, fetching cool cloths, and being steady when emotions rise.

No two births are the same, but the heart of this work is always the same: showing up fully, with compassion, patience, and unwavering support. Birth is powerful, raw, and beautiful—and I’m honored every time I get to witness new life enter the world. 💕
