Our participants enjoyed a day filled with Halloween fun and friendly competition! 🎃👁️ Our participants had a wonderful time testing their guessing skills with the pumpkin head challenge and aiming for the perfect throw in our eyeball toss game. Smiles, laughter, and great company made it a memorable day for everyone.

"The people at PACE treat me well, and they truly care."

For Mike Romel, PACE Northeast Michigan provides much more than healthcare. From helping coordinate medical bills and providing home care services to offering personal care support and opportunities to socialize at the Day Center, Mike says the program has improved his quality of life.

One of Mike's proudest accomplishments was successfully graduating from therapy services just a few months after enrolling in PACE. Today, he continues to enjoy the support of a team that helps him remain independent while receiving the care he needs.

At PACE Northeast Michigan, our Occupational Therapist, Eric Koss, demonstrates dedication both in his work with participants and in his personal pursuits.

Last weekend, Eric completed the challenging Wolverine 100 mile run, a remarkable feat that reflects the perseverance, strength, and commitment he demonstrates every day as part of our care team.

💜 Participant Spotlight: Bobbi's PACE Journey 💜

"PACE has truly changed my life."

Bobbi shares that participating in the PACE program has helped her overcome many challenges and gain the strength and confidence needed to remain active in her community. Through physical therapy, she has improved her strength, mobility, and overall ability to function independently.

Beyond her physical progress, Bobbi says PACE has played an important role in supporting her emotional, social, and overall well-being. Having help with healthcare coordination and insurance-related concerns has reduced stress and allowed her to focus on what matters most: her health and quality of life.

Bobbi is especially grateful for the compassionate staff who make her feel valued, respected, and heard. From home-delivered meals to meaningful social opportunities at the Day Center, she appreciates the care and support she receives each day.

🎃👻 A new seasonal guest has arrived at the Day Center!

Participants and staff at PACE Northeast Michigan recently came together to create a festive scarecrow as part of our fall and Halloween activities. This hands-on project encouraged creativity, collaboration, and plenty of laughter along the way.

At PACE, activities like these help foster meaningful connections, engagement, and a sense of community while celebrating the changing seasons. Our scarecrow is now proudly on display, bringing a little extra fall spirit to the Day Center.

Say hello to Jessica Niles!

Jessica has dedicated 20 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and has also held her Medical Assistant (MA) license for the past 1.5 years. Her passion for caring for others shines through in everything she does.

💗 Favorite Color: Pink

📚 Hobbies: In her spare time, Jessica enjoys going for walks, reading books, and spending quality time with her family.

🐾 Fun Fact: Jessica is a proud dog mom to 5 dogs!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Life: She has been happily married for 17 years and is the proud parent of 4 children.

Jessica enjoys working with older adults because of the companionship they provide. She loves lifting others' spirits, building meaningful connections, and having fun while making a difference in their lives.

We are grateful to have Jessica's experience, compassion, and positive attitude as part of our team!
