Each day brings us one step closer to being back to a new normal. It sure seems like we have all been holding our breath for so long now with anxiety and uncertainty. We are making it people! We will emerge stronger, more patient and able to be still and treasure our loved ones more than when we started perhaps. Frantic scheduling will be revealed to be a choice, not a necessity. I don't think we will take as much for granted anymore. Exhale deeply, we are making it!

So thankful! We received the small business payroll assistance today. Usually I am not a take the handout type of person, but I am so grateful for this help for America's small businesses and their precious employees.

We have not been able nor should we have been able to see any patients other than emergencies for weeks now. It is of the the highest priority that my amazing staff is protected and kept on full salary as long as it takes, but I have been hemorrhaging cash to make this happen. This PPP will buy us some more precious time until our world gets back on its axis again and we can resume normal patient care.

Also I want to express my extreme gratitude for those of you who have supported our community eye care business and thus my stellar staff with your contact lens or eyeglass reorders! Every dollar is such a blessing right now. I sincerely thank you!
