✨ Maggie had a wonderful time attending the Atlanta Senior Care Networking Niche (ASCNN) meeting! Beyond connecting with fellow professionals, she gained invaluable insights into communication strategies for individuals living with dementia.

Understanding how to adapt our language and approach helps ensure those naturally aging with dementia feel safe, respected, understood, and comfortable. These meaningful conversations and continued learning opportunities strengthen the compassionate care we provide every day.

Thank you, ASCNN, for fostering collaboration and education that empower us to better serve seniors and their families. 💜

We’re delighted to shine our Client Spotlight of the Quarter on the incredible Judy! 🌟

For the past two years, Judy has been a cherished member of the Synergy HomeCare family. From New York, she devoted 38 years to inspiring and educating middle school students as a special education teacher. She’s been happily married to her husband, John, for 52 wonderful years, an achievement she holds most dear. Among her proudest moments is earning a master’s degree, and she fondly remembers her wedding day, filled with love and joy.

In her free time, Judy enjoys a range of hobbies, from reading, scrapbooking, playing cards, to cooking delicious Asian cuisine. She cherishes Thanksgiving celebrations & enjoys relaxing with her favorite TV shows & playing on her iPad. Friends and family know her for her witty, sarcastic sense of humor and radiant personality.

Judy shares that home care has been truly life-changing for her. Without the support of Synergy & caregivers, she believes she would be bedbound. Our daily assistance has significantly improved Judy’s quality of life and brought tremendous ease to both her and John. What she treasures most is the genuine relationships she’s developed with her caregivers. Their companionship, conversations, and daily encouragement bring her happiness and peace of mind.

Judy’s advice for the younger generation is simple but powerful: "Find something you love & do it!"

We are deeply grateful to be part of Judy’s story and offer our heartfelt thanks for letting us serve and celebrate her! 💜

✨ On Friday, Sue had the pleasure of attending the Shine the Light Gala with her fellow Rotary Club ladies, hosted by Senior Services North Fulton.

It was a wonderful evening filled with community, celebration, and purpose as they joined others in raising funds to support the incredible programs and services that help older adults in North Fulton live with dignity, independence, and connection.

Thank you to everyone who made this special event possible. We were honored to support an organization that makes a lasting impact in the lives of local seniors and their families.

💙 Together, we can continue to shine a light on the needs of our aging community and strengthen the support systems that help seniors thrive.

As a registered nurse with more than 20 years of experience, Lindsay brings exceptional knowledge, professionalism, and heart to everything she does.

Lindsay earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University and brings both expertise and empathy to every client she serves. When she’s not caring for seniors, she enjoys traveling, staying active, and making memories with her family.

Building Stronger Support Systems Through Collaboration 💙
Sue and Maggie recently hosted an educational in-service for the Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) team at Northside Hospital Atlanta.
It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the nurses, physicians, and case managers who navigate complex patient journeys every day. Collaborations like these help strengthen the continuum of care and create better support systems for patients and families throughout our community.
We are grateful to the dedicated BMT team for the vital work they do and for partnering with us to help elevate patient care. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
