Reflecting on a wonderful JCAC Open House celebrating 10 incredible years of community, connection, and impact ~

It was a joy to gather with parallel professionals, community partners, dedicated staff, and staff alumni to celebrate this milestone and share meaningful conversations, memories, and connections.

We’re grateful for the relationships that have helped shape JCAC’s journey and for the continued collaboration that allows us to grow and serve our community together. Here’s to honoring the past, celebrating the present, and looking forward to the next chapter!

Behind every law enforcement officer is a family navigating the demands of the job, too.

Being a spouse or partner of a law enforcement officer comes with unique challenges that aren’t always visible—the long hours, missed holidays, emotional stress, uncertainty during shifts, and the pressure to stay strong for everyone else.

Many law enforcement spouses find themselves thinking:
“I don’t know anyone who understands this.”
“I feel like I have to handle everything on my own.”
“I want to support my officer, but I need support too.”

That’s why we created Behind the Badge—a support group specifically for spouses and partners of law enforcement officers.

This group provides a safe space to:
✨ Connect with others who understand the realities of law enforcement life
✨ Share experiences without needing to explain every detail
✨ Learn healthy ways to cope with stress and strengthen relationships
✨ Build a community of support with people who truly “get it”

You don’t have to navigate the challenges of law enforcement family life alone. Your mental health matters, too.
