My name is Sarah, and I’m so grateful you popped by for a virtual hello 👋

A bit about me:
- LPC (Licensed professional counselor) in private practice at Transformation Counseling in Alpharetta
- LPMT/MT-BC (Board-certified music therapist) bringing music to mental health in all sorts of ways!
- Therapeutic sound practitioner, facilitating sound baths throughout Atlanta
- Musician/performer/creative using music in my own healing journey
- FL➡️ATL transplant consistently seeking & building authentic community

A bit about my work:
- I work with teens & adults at Transformation Counseling who are seeking an embodied, creative approach to therapy. They may be navigating identity, emotional understanding, relationships, and shifting the way trauma impacts their current experience.
- I run Woolson Wellness, a community-focused organization centered around music therapy and therapeutic sound. My mission is to bring people together around music and sound to support ourselves and our community.

WE MADE IT, Y’ALL 🎉

Sharing a celebratory post of lovely new headshots to announce that I am officially a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia!!!

This journey has been a long, wild, beautiful one, and I know it only keeps going and growing from here!

That said, I want to share deep gratitude to the many mentors, supervisors, teachers, colleagues, clients, family and friends who have been instrumental in helping me to reach this goal. I have felt so incredibly supported by my community, and know this is truly at the core of my growth and success.

Another brief, but important, reflection: I’m damn proud of myself. This journey is not an easy one, but I am so grateful to the challenge, as I am a profoundly different person (for the better) from when I started out on this path. And I know doing this work will only continue to teach and change me.

A global gathering bringing together practitioners, therapists, musicians, educators, researchers, and healers for several days of learning, connection, and community centered around the growing field of therapeutic sound.

I’m thrilled to be joining an inspiring lineup of presenters and to offer an experiential workshop on the regulating power of music. We’ll be exploring sound, vibration, and the vagus nerve through the lens therapeutic sound, music therapy, and psychotherapy.
