When love meets suffering, compassion naturally arises. In this state of being we are moved to help in the ways that we can. But let us not forget that the circle of compassion is not complete until it also includes yourself. ❤️

Loneliness isn’t always about who is around us.
Sometimes, it’s about how far we’ve drifted from ourselves.

Self-compassion invites us back into our own presence.
Not to fix or force anything, but to meet ourselves with kindness and care.

“Every fragment of self-talk is a little story in the head that goes around, and then you look at reality through the lens of the little story.” —Eckhart Tolle

Many people who face challenges to their will be able to receive help from a professional counselor. In addition to helping those seeking wellness, it's important to remember that counselors need to be able to care for their own mental health as well.

We all face challenging times, but the words we tell ourselves matter.
When you’re in a difficult situation that is causing you stress, ask yourself, “What do I need to hear right now to express kindness to myself?” Try repeating a phrase that speaks to you in your particular situation. Some potentials are:
✨ May I give myself the compassion that I need.
✨ May I learn to accept myself as I am.
✨ May I be brave in the face of fear.
✨ May I be kind to myself in this moment.
