CTPTC is coming along beautifully, and we’re excited to begin treating patients later this year. From the healing garden to the finished exterior, every detail was designed with the patient experience in mind.

Proton International is proud to be part of the National Proton Conference (NPC) this week in Music City.

Our VP of Business Development, Kristen Powers, LCSW, MPH, will be speaking on March 19 from 1:00–2:00 PM in the session:
“Community Proton Centers After a Decade — The Realities of Opening a Center”

Over the past decade, advances in compact proton technology and evolving care delivery models have transformed what is possible for community-based proton centers. This session will explore how the landscape has changed since the earliest one-room installations and what real-world experience has taught us about launching, operating, and sustaining successful programs.
Panelists will share practical insights from taking centers from concept to clinical operation, including:

• Staffing strategies during ramp-up
• Balancing fiscal responsibility with workforce development
• Maintaining strong interdisciplinary communication across care teams

The discussion will also highlight the one-room, hands-on model and how smaller-scale proton centers can expand access, strengthen community engagement, and improve equity for patients who have historically had limited access to proton therapy.
