Walking in someone else's shoes changes everything. 👣

At Hammond Glen, we recently had the privilege of hosting a Virtual Dementia Tour — an experience that allowed staff to step into the world of someone living with dementia. From the sensory challenges to the emotional weight of everyday tasks, it was a deeply moving and eye-opening journey for everyone involved.

Understanding is the foundation of compassionate care. When the team experiences even a glimpse of what the residents and patients navigate each day, it strengthens the commitment to showing up with greater patience, empathy, and heart. 💙
