Join me in welcoming Chris Brim, APRN to AFP. Chris is settled in, seeing patients and has availability to see you and/or your family. Read his bio below.

Chris began his career as a paramedic serving the communities of Orange and Osceola County. His nursing career started in the emergency room, serving for 17 years across various ERs in Central Florida, including a local Trauma Center. After that, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida and then earned his graduate degree at ECPI University, becoming a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020. From 2020-2025, he specialized in neurosurgery, with a brief stint in pain management as well.

He enjoys taking care of patient's across the age spectrum and is committed to putting the patient first. Outside of his professional life, he is a proud Dad of three beautiful children. He loves spending time with his family, and when he can, he enjoys fishing and also spectating all kinds of motorsports, especially drag racing.

Dear Patient,

I am writing to share that I will be leaving my position with Altamonte Family Practice, with my last day being April 10, 2026.

Caring for you over the years has truly been one of the greatest privileges of my career. I am deeply grateful for the trust you placed in me and for the relationships we built together. It has been an honor to be part of your healthcare journey. You will continue to receive excellent care with Altamonte Family Practice and the wonderful team here.
