Spinal decompression is one of the treatment options we use here at Vargas Family Chiropractic. For some patients with things like back pain, sciatica, neck pain, or disc problems, it can be a helpful part of their care.

We’re pretty sure the universe had a sense of humor. 😂

September 18 is a BIG day at Vargas Family Chiropractic because we’re celebrating TWO things:

🎂 Dr. Gonzalo Vargas’s Birthday
🙌🏼Chiropractic Founders Day — the anniversary of the first chiropractic adjustment

Back in 1895, D.D. Palmer performed the first chiropractic adjustment, beginning the profession we know today.

And many years later… Dr. Vargas showed up on the exact same date. Coincidence? 🤔

We’re choosing to call it “perfect timing”. 😉

So today, we’re celebrating the birthday of the guy who spends his days helping people get back to doing what they love — and occasionally reminding everyone that “cracking” jokes is part of the job.😂

Incluso un choque que parece leve puede causar dolor de cuello o espalda, rigidez, dolores de cabeza u otras molestias que pueden aparecer horas o días después.

Si tuviste un accidente, no esperes a que el dolor empeore para buscar atención.
En Florida, la regla de los 14 días es importante. Si resultaste lesionado en un accidente de auto, generalmente debes recibir atención médica inicial dentro de los 14 días para poder ser elegible para los beneficios de PIP.

Even a minor collision can leave you with neck or back pain, stiffness, headaches, or discomfort that doesn't appear until later.
If you've been involved in an accident, don't wait until the pain gets worse to seek care.

In Florida, the 14-day rule is important. If you're injured in an auto accident, you generally need to receive initial medical treatment within 14 days to be eligible for PIP benefits.
