Today, on Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, we’re remembering a very special part of the Altavista Animal Clinic family — our sweet clinic cat, Rolo. 🌈🐾

Rolo came to us in 2016 and spent nearly 10 wonderful years being loved by our staff, clients, and so many people who walked through our doors. She truly made the clinic her home and had a way of leaving an impression on everyone who met her.

Unfortunately, Rolo crossed the Rainbow Bridge this past May. While we still miss seeing her around the clinic, we’re so thankful for all the years, memories, and love we got to share with her. She lived a wonderful life surrounded by people who adored her, and she’ll always be a special part of our clinic family. 🤍

We miss you, Sweet Rolo. 🌈🐱

I’ve officially decided that picking just one “Boarder of the Week” is way too hard, so from now on we’ll be featuring a few of our favorite boarding babies each week! 🐾💗

First up is Scout, the cutest little dachshund with enough personality for a dog ten times his size! He is crazy, spunky, full of energy, and somehow still one of the sweetest and most lovable little guys. Next is Louie, our hilarious and oh-so-sweet French Bulldog. Louie may be missing an eye, but he definitely isn’t missing an ounce of personality, charm, or love to give! 🥹💕 And last but certainly not least is Ari, our sweet deaf pit bull old lady. Ari has the kind of gentle, lovable personality that makes it impossible not to fall in love with her, and she steals everyone’s heart almost immediately. We didn’t get a chance to snap a picture of Ari while she was boarding with us, so we’re sharing an adorable photo of her relaxing at home instead! 🥰 We absolutely love getting to care for these three and can’t wait to introduce you to even more of our amazing boarders! 🐶🐾💗

Meet Emma, our kennel assistant! Emma works Tuesday through Sunday, caring for our boarding dogs and cats every afternoon and evening. She makes sure each animal is fed, comfortable, clean, and given plenty of attention while they’re staying with us. Emma is also starting a fun new series on our TikTok and Facebook called “Boarder of the Week!” Each week, she’ll choose one of our boarding dogs and/or cats to be featured on Altavista Animal Clinic’s social media so everyone can meet some of the sweet babies staying with us. Keep an eye out to see who wins each week!

🐾 Meet Milo, our very first Boarder of the Week! 🐾

Milo is a sweet, spastic, and lovable Dalmatian with a personality that is impossible not to adore! 🤍🖤 He’s always full of energy, ready to play, and keeps us smiling with his silly antics. When he isn’t busy zooming around and having fun, Milo is soaking up all the love and attention he can get. We couldn’t think of a better pup to kick off our Boarder of the Week series!
