Time for a long overdue post!
✨ I am NO longer accepting NEW clients for the rest of 2025 ✨
I'm expecting my own baby this summer, yay!!! 🥳 with that being said, I will be taking time away from birth work to focus on my own growing family. 🌱
This does not mean I'm stepping away from birth work entirely, of course! & my repeat clients will always have my availability as long as I'm not giving birth to my own baby at the same time 😆 I'd really like to clarify how some things might look differently though...
* I am not accepting any new birth clients for 2025 unless there are special circumstances. I would possibly consider a winter birth client based on referral (i.e. if a previous client of mine or a midwife friend refers you out to me in a trustworthy manner and we're an obvious fit).
* I am still available for other work! Well-woman care, consults, educational classes, some postpartum/lactation care, placenta services etc. Please feel free to reach out to me about any of these services. This applies to both "old & new" clients of all kinds.
* Repeat/previous clients - do not hesitate to reach out to me anytime! Always make sure to reach out asap if you get a positive test, like always, but I will always be available for you to the best of my abilities!
* I do plan on assisting at births come fall/winter of 2025 for other midwives! So although I may not be your primary midwife, there is still a possibility I might be at your birth depending on the team you hire, how fun! I've already reached out to some local midwife friends, but if you're a local midwife reading this and would possibly like to consider me as an assistant - please let me know! I'd be happy to connect with you further to see if we'd make a good team assuming we haven't already worked together in the past.
* If I receive birth inquiries, I will do my best to refer out as I have been. However, we know sometimes this can be a true challenge especially in the central PA area as there's still very little options available. The options are still growing & changing like always! I wish we had more care options available to us at the time being, but I will do my best to refer you out if you are looking for your birth options locally! I'm also always available for consultations, so even if you are not my own client, hiring another birth team, etc you are more than welcome to reach out to me for my professional expertise and familiarity with the local area.
