As per Laurie’s wishes there will not be a service. Instead she would like everyone to celebrate and remember her with a memorial celebration amongst family and close friends. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Laurie Dee Reyes passed peacefully at home the morning of October 8, 2026, surrounded by those who loved her. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, wife, friend, sister, and aunt to many who loved her. She had a deep love for music and she enjoyed cruising around town with her family, singing Led Zeppelin at full volume.

Laurie loved gardening, in fact, everything she grew flourished under her care, especially tomatoes and roses. She also enjoyed playing Yahtzee and Farkle with her friends and family.
She was an artist at heart and worked at Country Touch in the late 90's. In her 40's, she went back to school which led to her work writing grants for the City of Waynoka. This work would later lead to her taking on the role of ambulance director for the City of Waynoka before retiring to Alva with her husband, Joseph “Ches” Brosh, Jr.

In her retirement she devoted her life to Jesus and helping others in need. In addition to that, she enjoyed coloring with her grandchildren for whom she had so much love. She loved going out in nature, collecting antique signs, heart shaped rocks, and plant cuttings. Laurie loved watching small animals thrive and play outside for hours.
