The kids had a blast watching the movie David. They had popcorn,candy and juice. To reference to the movie I asked them what did David use to kill Goliath? They all said a stone and a sling shot. I asked them whats another name for a stone? They said a rock. I gave them rock candy to refer to the stone used. Then I asked them again what did David use to kill Goliath? They said a sling shot and stone. I gave them a sling shot finger chicken to refer to the sling shot. I love days like this its fun and also educational to learn about the Bible.

This will be so much fun for the kids its during children's church class. Please have them wear pajamas and bring a blanket and pillow to use for the floor while enjoying the movie.

*** HELP***

We are preparing for our summer kids day camp (vbs) and are in need of some items.

Donations are great but if you want your items back, we'd love to borrow and you can have them back afterwards.

We will update this list as the needs are met and/or needed to be added.

Anything army related:
(Cans, crates, camo netting (we need A LOT of this netting), luggage, party decorations, etc.)

Army green or camouflage materials like tarp, sheets, anything really. The bigger the better.

Cardboard: We need large sheets of Cardboard and the biggest Cardboard boxes possible. We do need a few about the size of a square wooden crate as well.

Christmas trees: forest greens in color only please.

Fake potted plants: Like shrubs not flowers, any greenery will work.
*We will take real ones if you will wait till closer to time to bring them by.

Old pillows

Cream or beige colored pillow cases

Big rolls of paper. (Like moving paper)

Deliveries can be made Monday-Saturday, 9am-5pm at our resale shop.

*Please let the ladies know you're leaving them for the camp.

We started something new for the older kids children's church. This Sunday we started traveling through the Bible starting in Genesis with the 10 days of creation. And we'll go through every story and book of the bible. We also started reading out of their Bibles and every Sunday some one different will say the prayer for the class. Juliette did it this Sunday to start us off.

Im so proud of Juliette she did our prayer for our class. She was so nervous and scared. She did a great job.
