You might be surprised by what's inside The ER on Soncy.

We're a freestanding emergency room, but that doesn't mean we're limited in what we can do.

Our facility has CT scanning, X-ray, ultrasound, cardiac monitoring and an on-site laboratory. We also have experienced emergency physicians ready to evaluate and treat serious illnesses and injuries.

That means many of the tests needed to diagnose an emergency can happen right here, without sending you across town.

But broken bones, unexpected injuries and medical emergencies don't check the calendar.

Most headaches are nothing to worry about. But some deserve immediate medical attention.

A sudden, severe headache that comes on without warning can be a sign of something serious, especially when accompanied by confusion, weakness, difficulty speaking or changes in vision.

At The ER on Soncy, our emergency medicine, board-certified physicians have access to on-site CT imaging and diagnostic testing to help evaluate serious symptoms.

If a headache feels dramatically different from anything you've experienced before, don't ignore it.

Working in an ER takes a special kind of person.

Today, we're celebrating the incredible nurses at The ER on Soncy. They work hard, look after one another, and treat the people who come through our doors with kindness and respect.

Even on the busiest days, they find time for a reassuring word or a little extra care when someone needs it.
