Hey there, five points of joy in one place: our amazing CNAs at Five Points Nursing & Rehab. Excela Care is swinging by to celebrate CNA Week with us, and yes, they brought coffee, smiles, and the kind of patience that could tame a chaotic coffee machine at 3 a.m.
If you’ve ever felt protected, comforted, or power-washed with kindness by a CNA, you know exactly who’s behind those heroic scrubs. Big shout-out to our incredible team for turning everyday moments into extraordinary care. You’re the real superheroes, minus the capes (capable of tripping over a sock, but always picking you up faster than you can say “mepCommunication!”).

To our friends at ExcelaCare Home Health and Hospice: we’re thrilled you’re here to celebrate CNA Week with us and bringing the pizza. Hey there, Five Points family. Today we swapped the usual routine for a little mid‑day mischief in Center City. Amber, our fearless Activities Director, orchestrated a fantastic field trip to High Noon on the Square. We wandered, we tasted, we danced (a little), and we soaked up the live tunes like sunburned sponges—only with better sunscreen and more giggles.

If you’re wondering who brought the sunshine, that would be Amber waving the magic wand of fun and somehow making the city feel like a giant, friendly living room. The residents embraced every bite and beat, turning a simple trip into a memory worth repeating at least three times a week (or until the chorus gets stuck in your head—you’re welcome).

Gratitude to Amber for coordinating this smooth, smiles‑first outing and to Center City for hosting us with open arms and excellent vibes. Until next time, we’re all about good company, great music, and snacks that disappear a lot faster than a superhero in a cape.

So, a couple weeks back, our fearless Activities Director, Amber, roped the whole crew into a flower-planting extravaganza in the garden. Picture this: soil flying, fingers getting dirtier than a rom-com plot twist, and neighbors posing like they just discovered the fountain of youth—aka fresh blooms.

If you missed it, don’t worry. The garden is now basically a blockbuster set, full of color, charm, and about a dozen “I can’t believe these petals exist” moments. Amber orchestrated the whole thing with the precision of a top-tier action montage, and our residents brought the heart you can’t script.

Big thanks to everyone who showed up, rolled up their sleeves, and proved that flowers—and good company—still steal the show. Grab a moment to stroll by, check out the new blooms, and let the garden remind you that life, like a great sunset, only gets better with a little color.
