Your Impact as a Charge Nurse – LVN or RN
In this role, you will:
• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.

• Is a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing

• Safely Transport Residents: Drive residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and scheduled activities
• Ensure Resident Comfort: Monitor safety and comfort throughout transport
• Observe & Report: Watch for changes in residents' condition during transport and report any concerns promptly
• Assist with Mobility: Help residents ambulate and transfer using assistive devices and proper technique
• Monitor Vital Signs: Record vitals when needed during transport
• Support the Team: Assist with CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents

• Holds a valid driver’s license and has a clean driving record

Anna has been a valued member of the long-term care community since 2013, bringing years of experience, compassion, and dedication to everything she does. She plays a vital role at Landmark of Amarillo, helping ensure our residents and their families receive exceptional support throughout their stay.

From managing resident accounts and coordinating insurance to assisting families with financial questions, Anna works behind the scenes to help make each resident’s experience as smooth and positive as possible. Her attention to detail, organization, and commitment to excellence help keep our administrative processes running smoothly, allowing our clinical team to focus on what matters most, providing outstanding care to our residents.

Anna’s connection to Landmark is also personal. Her mother has experienced two successful stays at Landmark of Amarillo, where our team helped her through rehabilitation and supported her return home. That experience has given Anna an even deeper appreciation for the difference compassionate, quality care can make in the lives of residents and their families.

Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time with her family and loves being outdoors. You can often find her hunting, watching wildlife, fishing, kayaking, or hiking. She has a genuine passion for helping others, and that compassion shines through in the way she serves our residents, families, and team members.
