We never officially introduced our summer therapy tech on here! Unfortunately she only has a few weeks left here before she heads back to college! We are so sad to see her leave us but so thankful for all the help this summer! She will be missed!

Hi my name is Alexis Crum! I have been lucky enough to work as a physical therapy tech here this summer. Thank you so much to all the patients and staff I’ve gotten to work with! Y’all have been truly amazing and I’m going to miss y’all!!

I grew up in Amarillo/Bushland, and I’m about to enter into my junior year at the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!) where I’m pursuing a bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science. Afterwards I plan on getting a doctorate in physical therapy degree. I’m interested in neurological and pediatric physical therapy mainly, but who knows! Outside of physical therapy, I enjoy reading, shopping, horseback riding, and traveling.

We are excited to have two students this summer! Meet Caroline our current Physical Therapy Student from Texas Tech University!

Caroline Tomlinson has lived in Amarillo since 2019, but grew up in North Platte, Nebraska. She attended West Texas A&M University, where she graduated with a degree in Health Sciences and a minor in Psychology, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Caroline developed a passion for physical therapy after witnessing family members make amazing improvements in rehabilitation following cancer treatment and stroke recovery. She was inspired by the compassion and encouragement their physical therapists provided as they helped her loved ones regain function and improve their quality of life.

Caroline is interested in pelvic floor, neurological, and pediatric physical therapy. She is excited to continue developing her clinical skills and gaining experience during her time at Fyzical over the summer. She hopes to become a compassionate physical therapist who encourages and supports her patients while helping them regain function and independence. Outside of physical therapy, Caroline enjoys watercolor painting, drawing, traveling, and archery!

We love to have students at Fyzical! Learn a little about our summer student from Amarillo College!!

My name is Ehler Htoo, and I am currently completing my first clinical rotation as a Physical Therapist Assistant Student. A few years ago, I never would have imagined pursuing a career in physical therapy but I truly believe God had a greater plan for my life.

I served four years in the Army and wanted to continue serving others and my community, which led me to pursue this profession. I am passionate about helping others regain their independence and improve their quality of life through movement and rehabilitation. During my clinical experience, I have had the opportunity to work with patients in balance training, strength and conditioning, gait training, vestibular rehabilitation, and a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Every patient interaction has strengthened my passion for serving others and reinforced my commitment to becoming a compassionate, knowledgeable, and lifelong learner in the field of physical therapy.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy fitness, endurance training, traveling, and continuously challenging myself to grow both personally and professionally. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from experienced clinicians and look forward to making a positive impact in the lives of my future patients.

We had such a great time at the She Thrives Event! 💕

Our own Shelly Lamb McGee represented FYZICAL by sharing information about the importance of exercise during pregnancy and connecting with so many amazing attendees. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet other vendors, answer questions, and talk about ways to stay strong, active, and healthy throughout pregnancy and beyond.
