Access to breast cancer screening isn't always easy. Long travel distances, limited access to healthcare providers, transportation challenges, and lengthy wait times can all make it harder to schedule a mammogram.

Panhandle Breast Health helps remove these barriers by partnering with BSA Harrington Breast Center, Pampa Regional Medical Center, and Moore County Hospital District to provide free mammograms for uninsured residents of the Texas Panhandle.

The good news is that most recommended preventive screenings are covered by many insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. In many cases, this means you can receive these services without paying out of pocket.
