While I was pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Addictions at

the University of Missouri, my degree path led me to complete a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and Criminal Justice at West Texas A&M University. I further advanced my expertise by obtaining a Master of Science in Social Work from West Texas A&M University, equipping me with a profound understanding and skill set in my field. Mental Health Awareness Month reminder: Movement Matters. 💜

Exercise isn’t just about physical health — it can improve mood, reduce stress, boost sleep, and help quiet the mental clutter that builds up during busy seasons of life. The best workout is the one that feels doable and sustainable for you.

Short exercises such as quick walks, squats, push-ups, and jumping jacks can be impactful, and easy to fit into a busy schedule. Some days even 15-30 minutes can completely shift your mindset.

Give yourself permission to move your body for your mental health — not as punishment, but as care.
