🎉 Congratulations, Kristian!🎉

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Kristian on becoming Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C)!💙🩺

This achievement reflects Kristian’s continued commitment to growing her knowledge and strengthening the care and support she provides to mothers and families. Perinatal mental health is such an important part of maternal and infant well-being, and having this specialized knowledge on our Nurse-Family Partnership team is invaluable.

Kristian’s expertise will not only strengthen the support we provide to our NFP clients, but also serve as an important resource for our team, our community partners, and families throughout our community. 🫶

We are so proud of your dedication to the mothers and babies we serve, Kristian. Congratulations on this well-deserved accomplishment!👏

Our monthly support group for moms is this week! This month’s topic includes tackling intrusive thoughts. Intrusive thoughts can be a very normal part of the postpartum experience. Regardless of any mental health diagnosis that you may or may not have. But it’s one of the lesser talked about symptoms.

So this week we’re gonna talk about different categories of intrusive thoughts, why you might be having the thoughts, why are we not talking about them, and ways to manage them.

Our support group takes place once a month, it is a psychoeducational, peer lead support group where moms can come together and discuss challenging parts of motherhood, while learning coping tools, and gaining support of being around other moms.

As always, it’s free, and you can bring your baby/toddler. And we always have snacks.

We are incredibly proud to officially announce that Brianna has been named a 2026 Panhandle Great 25 Nurse! 🩺💙

Brianna exemplifies what it means to be an exceptional nurse. Through her compassion, dedication, and genuine heart for the mothers and babies she serves, she has made a lasting impact on countless families through Nurse-Family Partnership.

The Coalition of Health Services and our entire NFP team could not be prouder to see Brianna recognized among the outstanding nurses of the Texas Panhandle. Those of us who have the privilege of working alongside her already know what makes her so special...she leads with kindness, advocates fiercely for her families, and truly embodies the heart of nursing.

Congratulations, Brianna! 🎉 This recognition is so well deserved, and we are honored to have a Panhandle Great 25 Nurse on our NFP team!

Please help us celebrate Brianna and this incredible accomplishment! 👏🎉

Mental health care for pregnant and postpartum individuals is critical.

For new or expectant mothers, seeking mental health support early on and practicing self-care can help with feelings of anxiety or depression that may accompany pregnancy and early motherhood.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 or text TALK to 741741. You are not alone and help is available. 💙

Remember, how we talk about su***de in media and online shapes public understanding of mental health and su***de. When done responsibly, it can reduce stigma and encourage help-seeking, while unethical coverage may negatively influence the health outcomes of those who are vulnerable or at risk of su***de.
