Morcos Habib, 50, of Gibsonia, passed away on June 9, 2026.

Born to Wahballah Fathallah Habib and Nabila R. Kaldas, Morcos dedicated his life to serving others through his faith, his family, and his medical profession.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sally Henein-Habib; his cherished children, Tiffany Habib and Matthew Habib; his brother, Moheb (Janet) Habib; his sister, Mary (Michael) Ghabour; his nephews, Fady, Marc, and Matthew; his niece, Sherry; his brothers-in-law, Maged (Brandy) Henein and Ramy Henein; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Morcos attended medical school in Cairo, Egypt, and immigrated to the United States in 2005. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at UPMC McKeesport and went on to build a distinguished career in healthcare. He served as Head of Medical Services at Western Psychiatric Hospital before continuing his work with UPMC Partners in Health. Throughout his career, he was deeply respected by colleagues and beloved by the countless patients whose lives he touched with his compassion, dedication, and expertise.

A devoted member of St. Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Ambridge, Morcos faithfully served as a Deacon and was an active servant within the church community. He was especially loved by the children he taught in Sunday School and was admired by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His unwavering faith, kindness, and generous spirit left a lasting impact on his family, church, patients, and friends.

Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church, 995 Melrose Avenue, Ambridge. Interment will follow at Mount Royal Cemetery in Glenshaw.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Gagliardi, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026.

John was born on March 5, 1964.

He proudly served his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force 171st Reserve Unit, attaining the rank of Master Sergeant.

John dedicated most of his life to law enforcement, serving as a Baden Police Officer and later as a Detective with the Pittsburgh Police Department for 30 years. Throughout his career, he was known for his integrity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to protecting others. After retiring from law enforcement, he continued to be a source of wisdom, strength, and guidance to all who knew him. At the time of his passing, John was employed as a police officer with AHN Police.

Above all else, John cherished his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Diane Gagliardi, and a loving father to Melissa (Alex) Thomson and Rocco (Christa) Gagliardi.

Known as “Papa G” to his grandchildren, Lucas and Isabella, he shared countless stories, laughs, and treasured memories with them.

He will be remembered for his strong sense of duty, his generous heart, his quick wit, and the love he gave so freely to those around him. His legacy of service, honor, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the lives of all those he touched.

John is survived by many loving relatives, including Doug and Debbie Ferguson and John and Mary Cappabianco, as well as numerous friends, nieces, and nephews.

John especially loved spending time with his vacation companions, Doug and Debbie, and with his hunting friends, with whom he shared a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

Marianne Spehar Orlowski, 93, of Harmony Township, passed peacefully in her home with loved ones by her side on June 5, 2026.

Born on May 12, 1933, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Sr. She is survived by her four children, Wendy, Bill, Nancy, and James "Jamie," as well as her five grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Billy, Annie, and Bo; and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom she had a loving relationship with.

A graduate of Ambridge High School in 1952, she became a registered nurse, working at Sewickley Hospital and later providing private-duty care to families in the Sewickley area.

She was active in Scouting in the 1970s and early '80s and was an avid crafter and sewer. Later in life, she discovered a passion for making seasonal door and window wreaths by watching YouTube how-to videos, which often involved shopping sprees at Dollar General, Walmart, and various craft stores in the area.

Throughout her late 70s and early 80s, she was actively involved as a "pierogi pincher" at churches in Ambridge. She loved to bake, with her specialty being her famous orange and poppy seed cakes.

While she will be missed by her family and friends, we are comforted to know that she led a healthy, full, and active life right up to the end.

By her request, a private remembrance service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to a charity of your choice.

Sylvia A. Testa, 90, of Economy, peacefully entered eternal rest on June 2, 2026, the same date she and her beloved husband, Eugene, exchanged wedding vows seventy years earlier on June 2, 1956. She was the cherished daughter of the late John and Helen Serak.

In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Eugene P. Testa, who passed away in 2005; and her siblings, Albert Serak and Margaret Pajak.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her children, Eugene H. (Darlene Pinchot) Testa and Linda (John) Germ; grandchildren, Bryan (Abby) Testa, Tara (Mike) Rittelmann, Ally Germ, Ryan (Lily) Hudacsek, and Kelsey Hudacsek; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Maddox, Lucas, Brenna, Leo, and Iris; and a sister-in-law, Doris (Ted) Gerhardt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her extended family at Villa St. Joseph in Baden.

A graduate of Ambridge High School, Sylvia continued her education at Pittsburgh Secretarial School before beginning her career as a secretary with Karnavas Vending Company. She was a devoted Catholic and a faithful member of the former Christ the King Church in Ambridge, now St. Luke the Evangelist Parish.

Sylvia was known for her warm and welcoming spirit. At Villa St. Joseph, she made it her mission to greet new residents, helping them feel at home by inviting them to Bingo and other activities. She was a talented baker whose homemade cookies became a family favorite and was a dedicated fan of Pittsburgh sports teams. Above all, Sylvia treasured time spent with her family and found her greatest joy in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge. Departing prayers will be offered on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Good Samaritan Church, St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, 725 Glenwood Avenue, Ambridge. Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Villa St. Joseph Activities Department, 1030 State Street, Baden, PA 15005, in Sylvia's memory. Sylvia especially enjoyed playing Bingo and shopping in the resident store, and her family feels this would be a meaningful way to honor the activities that brought her so much joy.

Randy S. Kunkle, 64, of Economy, passed away on May 31, 2026. Born to Dennis and Beverly Kunkle.

He is survived by his wife, Angel Nelson; his daughter, Paula Gordon; his brothers, Ronald (Linda) Kunkle and Richard (Cynthia) Kunkle; and his cherished grandchildren, Madaline and Vincent. He is also survived by his nephew, Jason (Megan) Kunkle; his niece, Kristin (Evan) Andreas; one special great-niece; and three great-nephews.

A graduate of Beaver High School, Randy continued his education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a master’s degree. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before beginning a distinguished career in public service. Randy served as Borough Manager of Norris, Tennessee, and later devoted 25 years as Borough Manager of Economy Borough before retiring.

Randy had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed spending time at the ocean. He was passionate about shark fishing, duck hunting, and an avid reader. Randy lived a life marked by dedication to his family, community, and country. Above all, he treasured time with his grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy.

Emma Gibson, 87, of Ambridge, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026. Born to the late John and Lela Young, Emma lived a life centered on faith, family, and service to others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rev. James H. Gibson; and her siblings, Rev. John Young II, Dora Hobson, Dorothy Davis, Edna Hauser, Laura Phelps, Marva Clinkscales, Maxine Young, and Marion Young.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, James H. Gibson Jr., Eric T. (Sonya) Gibson, Ayme Gibson, Julius (Maggie) Boler, and Rev. Robert Young; grandchildren, Jared Gibson, Jamison (Rachel) Gibson, Charese Anderson, Eric Gibson Jr., and Xzavier Gibson; as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will deeply miss her loving presence.

Emma was a proud graduate of Beaver Falls High School and later attended Seton Hill University in Greensburg, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She dedicated many years of compassionate care as a nurse at Sewickley Valley Hospital before beginning a second career working alongside her son as an on-call nurse at Holy Family Institute. Never one to slow down, she later spent eight years working at FedEx. To many, she was lovingly known simply as “Granny.”

A devoted woman of faith, Emma was a longtime member of Behold the Lamb of God Revival Center in Steubenville, Ohio, where she faithfully served beside her husband, Rev. James H. Gibson, for 35 years as a praise and worship leader. She also taught Sunday school and touched countless lives through her ministry, kindness, and encouragement.

Emma enjoyed staying active with her friends in the Silver Sneakers exercise group and sharing her love of music as a member of the Singleton Singers in her early years, performing at churches throughout the area. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, including sitting on her porch swing, planting flowers, visiting the Ambridge Farmers Market, and attending the activities and events of her children and grandchildren. She also loved singing Gospel hymns, coloring, completing word searches, and crocheting.

Known for her caring spirit, Emma was a source of comfort and strength to her family and community. She dedicated her life to helping others and will be remembered as a healer, caregiver, and friend to all who knew her.

Robyn L. Senior, 59, of Aliquippa, affectionately known as “Rob,” graced us every day with her beautiful smile, kind heart, and willingness to help anyone without question. She brought warmth, love, and laughter to those around her and touched the lives of many through her caring spirit and generosity.

With saddened hearts, we confirm that Robyn passed away suddenly on May 14, 2026, due to a brain aneurysm. Her unexpected passing has left a heartbreaking loss for her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends will be received for a viewing on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a formal funeral service beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Janet Mikush, 84, entered into eternal rest and was reunited with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 18, 2026.

Born in 1941 at Sewickley Hospital, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Irene Pirosko. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her sisters, Eileen Pirosko and Donna McConnell; her in-laws, Andrew and Helen Mikush; and her brother-in-law, Andrew “Whitey” Mikush.

She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 62 years, Robert A. Mikush; her sons, Robert (Laura) Mikush and Bryan (Cindy) Mikush; and her cherished grandchildren, Ryan Mikush and Amanda Mikush. She is also survived by her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Dave Carlson and Roberta Sciulli, along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Janet was a proud graduate of Ambridge Area High School, Class of 1959. She later dedicated many years working as a secretary for Ambridge Area High School. A faithful and devoted member of Saint Luke the Evangelist (Good Samaritan Church), Janet found joy in serving her community, especially while making pierogies at local churches. She also enjoyed playing poker and card games with her card club, bingo, and meeting her friends at McDonalds. Above all, Janet treasured time spent with her family and especially adored her grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge.
