Every woman is unique, just as every birth story is unique. ❤️

Some women come to me seeking hands-on labor support… comfort measures, breathing techniques, laboring positions, reassurance, and a steady presence throughout their birth.

Others simply want to feel educated, empowered, and confident in their ability to labor and birth alongside their partner.

And that's the beauty of what I do. My role isn't to tell a woman how to birth, but to help her feel supported in the way SHE needs.

My most recent client wanted something a little different. She and her partner desired education, guidance, and the tools to navigate labor together. They wanted to feel prepared, informed, and capable of embracing their experience as a team. And I absolutely love that!

And sometimes, that circle of support extends beyond the parents themselves. ❤️

I also love working with grandparents who want to be actively involved in the birth or postpartum experience, with the mother's invitation and permission, of course. Whether it's helping them understand today's birth practices, breastfeeding, newborn care, or simply teaching them how to offer meaningful support without taking away from the parents' experience, there is something incredibly special about bringing generations together through education, understanding, and love.

But birth, much like life, doesn't always unfold the way we envision. Sometimes birth plans change. Sometimes a cesarean becomes part of the story. Sometimes breastfeeding comes naturally, and sometimes it's a journey filled with unexpected challenges.

None of those experiences makes a woman any less strong, capable, or deserving of celebration.

I believe every woman deserves to feel heard, respected, cared for, and empowered… whether she chooses an unmedicated birth, an epidural, a planned cesarean, or finds herself navigating an unexpected turn.

Because ultimately, my work isn't about creating the perfect birth story.

It's about helping women and their families feel confident, informed, supported, and loved through whatever story unfolds. ❤️

Different women. Different needs. Different births. Different family dynamics. The same unwavering commitment to compassionate, individualized care.

As a birth worker, one of the greatest joys is the connection that I make with the families that I serve.

I grow to love every client, their family, and their child. And some of the births I attend are more impactful than others. That doesn’t have anything to do with the individual family meaning more than another, but sometimes it’s just the circumstances and scenarios surrounding the birth and everything we walk through together.

Yesterday, I had the joy of seeing a family after four weeks that I became very close with during their birth experience.

This family means so much to me and holds such a special place in my heart. And even though my husband has never met them, he has grown to love them through me and through everything I shared with him during their journey.

Being able to walk with a family through worrisome and uncertain places and eventually find ourselves in a place of peace and safety together...that is one of the reasons I do what I do.

Those moments stay with you.

The prayers. The fear. The waiting. The relief. The tears. And then being able to sit in their home weeks later, hold their baby, love on them, and see that they are okay...there really aren’t words for that.

The bonds that are created through birth work can be incredibly deep, and I don’t take that lightly.

I love all of the families that I serve, and I’m so grateful that they allow me to walk alongside them during such an intimate and vulnerable part of their journey.

Yesterday, I was just especially grateful.

Grateful to God for answered prayers.

Grateful for this family.

And grateful for the opportunity to sit in their home and be trusted to help care for and love on their child.

That means more to me than they probably know. ❤️

Birth stories matter.

Sometimes birth goes exactly the way we hoped. Sometimes it takes a completely different turn. Sometimes we walk away feeling strong and empowered… and sometimes we’re still trying to make sense of what happened.

On September 26th, I’m opening up a warm, welcoming space for women to come together and share their birth stories.
The positive ones, the unexpected ones, the complicated ones, and everything in between.

You do not have to have the “perfect” birth story to come. You don’t even have to share if you aren’t ready. You are welcome to simply sit, listen, connect, and be reminded that you are not alone.

There is something powerful about women being able to tell their stories without being rushed, corrected, compared, or told how they should feel about their experience.

Maybe you had the birth you prayed for. Maybe you had a C-section you never expected. Maybe your birth was beautiful but hard. Maybe years have passed and you still think about it. Maybe you just want to be around other mothers who understand.

Your story deserves space.

Come join us for an afternoon of sharing, listening, connection, and encouragement. 🤍
Babies are welcome.

This particular event won't have childcare. I am looking into other options for larger spaces and childcare for future events. If you know of a space that could be donated, please send a message. Thank you.

One of my favorite things to do with clients is help them slow everything down for a few minutes.

We relax the body… unclench the jaw… release the tension we don’t even realize we’re carrying… and create a safe, peaceful space to breathe and visualize birth in a positive way.

Almost every time, I hear some version of, “I didn’t realize how tense I was.”

And afterward, they usually tell me they feel completely relaxed, refreshed, and a little more grounded.

Birth preparation isn’t always about learning another technique. Sometimes it’s simply helping a mama feel safe enough to soften.

🩸✨ Breast milk is made from blood — not directly from what you eat.

Your body pulls from your bloodstream to create milk that’s perfectly designed for your baby. Most newborn gas is normal, and diet usually only matters if there’s a true protein allergy or intolerance.

Evidence matters. So does reassurance.

Be kind and loving to your mommy friends or family

You don’t ever forget how you were treated while pregnant❕

You remember who checked on you without being asked.
Who showed up.
Who made you feel safe, supported, and seen.

But you also remember who didn’t.
Who stayed silent.
Who judged your body, your choices, your boundaries.
Who made an already vulnerable time feel even heavier.

Pregnancy isn’t just physical… it’s emotional, mental, everything all at once.
And the way people treat you during that time? It sticks.

So be gentle with pregnant women.
Be kind.
Be supportive.
Check on them.

Because long after the baby is here…
she’ll remember how you made her feel.

There is a quiet strength in women that the world doesn’t always see. In this moment when chaos, interventions, insecurities, and fear can be commonplace, there is a sweet surrender.

This is active labor. Yes, active labor.
For her, it is not loud. Not chaotic. Not dramatic.
But deeply intentional… deeply surrendered.

For months, we prepared for this. She wanted to explore hypnobirthing and...
Breath by breath.
Fear by fear.
Letting go of what birth “should” look like…
and leaning into what her body already knows how to do.

This is what hypnobirthing can look like.
A mother going inward.
Trusting. Releasing. Riding each wave instead of fighting it.

My role here isn’t to lead but to remind.
To gently anchor her back to her breath, if she needs me
To lead her to the safety she built by trusting what she learned in our sessions while leaning on God, her husband, her body
to the strength that was always hers to begin with.

No rushing.
No pressure.
Just presence.

Birth doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.
Sometimes it looks like stillness.
Closed eyes.
Soft breaths.
A woman doing the most primal, sacred work there is.

And it is an honor...every single time—
to be invited into this space.
