After spending time at StoryPoint, Dan Lee is back home and sharing his perspective on the experience, the people who supported him along the way, and the personal and practical considerations that come with deciding where to call home.

We're grateful to have been part of Dan's journey and appreciate his willingness to share such an honest perspective.

💐💕 Happy National Boss’s Day to our amazing Executive Director, Sydney! 💕

Today, we had the opportunity to celebrate someone who does so much for our community each and every day! To show Sydney just how much she means to us, each of our residents surprised her with a single flower, one by one, until they came together to create one beautiful bouquet. 💐 Just like those flowers, each resident represents a life that Sydney has touched and made brighter. ❤️

Sydney goes above and beyond to make sure everyone in our community feels seen, heard, valued, and loved. Whether it's lending a listening ear, sharing a laugh, or working tirelessly behind the scenes, she pours her heart into everything she does. Her compassion, dedication, and love for our residents and staff never go unnoticed.

We truly don't know what we would do without her! Sydney, thank you for being the heart of our community, for always putting others first, and for making Independence Village of Ames such a special place to call home. We hope today reminded you just how loved and appreciated you are! 🌸💗
