You can’t have the Iowa State Fair without some animals! We had a couple of Story County 4-H members bring some of their animals for us to see, and we were lucky enough to have THREE GRAND CHAMPIONS among us! It was such a fun visit and a great way to bring a little bit of the fair right to us!

🍫🔥 S’more fun, anyone?! 🔥🍫

Today our residents enjoyed a little taste of summer with some ooey, gooey s’mores! Some had never had one before, while others were enjoying a favorite treat they hadn’t had in years.

Even though it was HOT outside, those s’mores still hit the spot! It was hot, messy, sticky, sweet, yummy, and SO much fun!

Sometimes it’s the simple things and a little melted chocolate and marshmallow.. that make the sweetest memories.
