NSWM was founded by Dr. Dominica Costello, DO, who is Board Certified in Endocrinology and Obesity medicine. Having been in active practice since completing fellowship training in 2006, Dr. Costello enjoys practicing all aspects of general endocrinology, with special focus on obesity and nutrition, diabetes and thyroid disease. Our team has expertise in nutrition, health coaching, exercise, behavior and of course medical care. There are many weight loss clinics that claim to help you lose weight, and some of them do work. However, the most effective, safe and PERMANENT way to lose weight is to join a program with a team of medical professionals, well versed in all aspects of weight management. We provide all this and more at North Shore Weight and Metabolism. During these challenging times of COVID-19, we are holding all nutrition coaching, classes, and medical visits using telemedicine. We will soon have a brand new office space in Amesbury, MA. As safety permits, Dr. Costello will soon start seeing patients in person in the office.
