🥁💙 What an amazing couple of months it has been with Zach Field! Our group has had so much fun learning how to drum, building new skills, expressing themselves through music, and enjoying every session along the way.

We are incredibly grateful to Zach for sharing his time, talent, and passion with us. The individuals always looked forward to their time in the studio, and the smiles on their faces said it all! 🎶✨

While we'll miss seeing Zach over the summer, we're already counting down the days until we can start back up in the fall. Thank you, Zach, for making such a positive impact on our Coastal family—we can't wait to keep the beat going! 🥁💙

🛠️🐦 From raw materials to beautiful birdhouses! 🐦🛠️

We're excited to share the finished birdhouses created by our talented individuals at Tinkerhaus! Throughout this project, they learned valuable woodworking skills including measuring, cutting, sanding, assembling, and—everyone's favorite part—painting their one-of-a-kind creations. Every birdhouse reflects their creativity, patience, and hard work.

Tinkerhaus is a community makerspace dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming environment where makers of all ages and abilities can explore creativity, develop new skills, solve problems, and build confidence through hands-on learning. We are incredibly grateful to Mary and Nancy for making this partnership possible and for sharing their time, knowledge, and encouragement with our group.

These photos capture not only the finished birdhouses, but also the teamwork, learning, and laughter that went into every step of the process.

While we're sad to take a break from Tinkerhaus over the summer, we're already looking forward to returning this fall to continue creating, learning, and building together. Thank you, Mary and Nancy, for another amazing season! 💙

June Safety Committee Check-In!

Our Safety Committee has been busy this month checking different areas of the building to help keep Coastal Connections safe for everyone. They have been looking for things like cluttered walkways, tripping hazards, and other items that may need attention.

It's a great way for individuals to be involved, practice observation skills, and help take pride in their environment. Thank you to everyone who has helped make our building a safe and welcoming place!

Full time: 8:15AM-3:30PM Mon-Fri

Coastal Connections is currently seeking a motivated, compassionate, and caring nurse to join our wonderful nursing team!
